Variables derived from the 2010 Australian Federal Election representing voting
results at polling booths.

Variables include number and the proportion of total votes cast for political parties at
each polling booth in Australia. Political parties include Coalition parties, Labor party,
Greens party, Family First Party, and Independents. Coalition two party preferred and Labor
two party preferred are included in the voting dataset. The dataset includes location quotients
comparing the ratio of the percentage of primary votes and the percentage of two party
preferred votes at each polling booth for a political party with the national benchmark percentage
of the vote for that party.
