A collection of digitised images of covers of Carter Brown books published in the 1950s. Carter Brown (a pseudonym for Alan Yates) was a British-born, Australian author of crime fiction. The Carter Brown books are estimated to have sold more than eighty million copies worldwide in dozens of languages. The collection was created as part of AustLit's Australian Pulp Fiction Industry project based on original materials held in Australian and international libraries. The digitised images are predominantly medium resolution JPEGs, but some images are high resolution TIFFs.
